Youth engagement strategy

The Youth Engagement Strategy (Y.E.S.) provides Youth Leadership opportunities for current and former clients of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital to engage with current client and families, programs and services as well as the community. Y.E.S. is an integral part of Holland Bloorview, representing the vision of the world of possibilities for children and youth with disabilities.

Youth Leaders participate in training and education to help them prepare for the range of ways they can engage with Holland Bloorview. Youth who are interested can contact Dolly Menna-Dack at 416-425-6220 ext 3292 or dmennadack@hollandbloorview.ca for more information.

The Youth Drop-in (YDI) is a social event for youth and young adults, ages 14-29, with disabilities & their friends. The YDI provides a great opportunity to socialize, participate in life skills sessions, have fun and meet a Youth Mentor.

Please view the flyer for special announcements for upcoming events!

The YDI is made possible with the partnership between Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Anne Johnston Health Station and Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario.
