The robots are back!
Designed to inspire young minds with imaginative play and encourage skill building, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital has partnered with FIRST® Robotics Canada to construct a unique, inclusive, and interactive program to introduce children and youth with disabilities to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and robotics.
Robotics will open new opportunities for kids to engage in a ground-breaking robotic LEGO® experience. Through the program, children and youth will:
- Develop and refine decision making and socialization skills.
- Improve their knowledge of STEM.
- Make new friends!
The program is led by Holland Bloorview and FIRST Robotics Canada staff and volunteers, in a group environment along with individualized support. It is also generously supported by Argosy Foundation. The program fee is $60 per person ($10 per session, for a total of six sessions).
