Dynamic topographic visualization and quantification of a multichannel surface EMG grid array
This study aims to develop a method of visualizing problems associated with one's back muscles. By attaching an array of sensors to a participant's back while weights are lifted, the electrical signals from those muscles will be collected. By analyzing these signals, a system could be developed that allows doctors to see the state of a patient's back muscles and aid in directing treatment for ailing backs.
