Dr. Elaine Biddiss Exhibits Therapeutic Virtual Video Games at the Ontario Science Centre

Toronto (November 25, 2014) - Dr. Elaine Biddiss, Scientist in the Bloorview Research Institute at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, exhibited therapeutic virtual video game technology as part of the Ontario Science Centre's Brain Exhibit.

Dr. Biddiss, an engineer and lead of the PEARL Lab in the Bloorview Research Institute, demonstrated custom videos games, still in development, that motivate kids to perform therapeutic exercises through the fun of a virtual world.

Breakfast Television was onsite and interviewed Dr. Biddiss about her work.

Dr. Biddiss also chatted with Voice K's kid reporters about another one of her technologies, ScreenPlay, an interactive waiting room installation for kids of all abilities.
