Has your child been diagnosed with cerebral palsy? Consider participating in a 10-week research study to design and test a brain-controlled music instrument for music therapy!
Who can participate
- 8-19 years old
- Able to provide a yes/no response (non-verbal/ verbal cues)
- Have normal or corrected-to-normal hearing and vision
- Able to follow simple instructions in English
- No metallic implants or fragments in the body
- No history of photosensitive epilepsy or psychosis

What's involved
- Learn to use the brain-controlled music instrument in 16 music therapy sessions (2 sessions x 8 weeks). Each session is 1 hour.
- 2 MRI brain scan sessions. Each session is 1 hour.
- 2 EEG brain waves sessions with attention challenges for children. Each session is 1.5 hours.
